The secret is in the fabric, an all-cotton, triple-layered French terry with a smooth exterior and loopback interior (the loops are naturally moisture-wicking to help keep you dry). These performance pants are crafted from a unique tech ripstop made by the experts at Olmetex, a world-renowned mill established in 1954 in Italy’s Como region. Ripstop is a military innovation, often used in uniforms and parachutes — it’s woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern, making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing.
