The build is faithful to the original, featuring a black suede upper with tonal TPU eyelets, translucent quarter panel netting and a grey Jumpman embroidered on the tongue. Contrasting white hits appear on the collar lining, interior tongue and Jumpman heel branding. To go alongside a hot air balloon world tour, KAWS released a newly designed Companion figure titled Holiday UK. This is the first time a KAWS Holiday exhibit has graced the United Kingdom as the previous exhibits were located in Taipei, Seoul and Hong Kong. Launching as the third installment in the LA retailer’s ‘Dunk vs AF-1’ series, this triple-black edition of the Nike Dunk Low features an eclectic mix of materials throughout the upper. Perforated suede on the toe box and quarter panel is overlaid with smooth suede paneling along the forefoot and heel. The Swoosh is covered in pony hair, while the collar and tongue are crafted from mesh and nylon, respectively. Undefeated’s Five Strikes logo appears on the woven tongue tag and lateral heel.
