The Nike Dunk Low SB ‘Camcorder’ takes inspiration from an iconic piece of equipment that was instrumental in the proliferation of skate videos in the ‘90s: the Sony DCR VX1000 camcorder. The low-top makes use of a charcoal nubuck upper, accented with a lighter shade of grey on the forefoot overlay and signature Swoosh. The black synthetic leather heel overlay is embellished with a series of camcorder functions, including ‘SHUTTER SPEED’ and ‘REC LEVEL.’ Red and yellow eyelets, along with a mint green heel tab, add subtle pops of colour to the neutral colour scheme.

This Dunk Low SE has a “Pale Ivory/ Black/ Malachite” colour scheme. The smooth leather base of the shoe is Pale Ivory. The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'UNC' arrives in March 2020 as an homage to Michael Jordan's alma mater. After finally releasing the long-awaited “Strawberry Cough” SB Dunk Highs last month, Nike SB has another fruit-inspired Dunk on the way. The upper wears a two-tone color blocking with a lighter shade dressing the leather and a light hue covering on suede overlay panels. The shoe also features a graphic of the fruit behind the tongue reminiscent of the strawberry from Todd Bratrud’s aforementioned “Strawberry Cough” iteration, but there’s no confirmation on the shoe that it was designed in collaboration with the artist.

Nike is showing a firm adherence to classic pastel tones this spring, because another Dunk Low featuring these spring-time tones has made an appearance. Muted blues, pinks, and light yellow cover the overlays to create a bit of a speckled look, but a closer inspection reveals a bit of a faded, worn suede look. The tongue label proudly features a reworked Nike logo as the letters are marked by a playful penciling filled in with the colors that accompany this colorway.
