Our denim comes in distinct tiers (Stretch, Selvedge and Small Batch), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey, and others a draft beer. The Slim Fit Destroyed Jean has all the quality and vintage-inspired design details of our Selvedge jeans but in a unique Stretch Fabric that will convert even the most resolute denim purist. (Try it, you’ll like it). The Destroyed Jean is in a mid-blue wash but baked and sanded to simulate the effect of years of natural wear-and-tear with abrasions and holes popping up where they typically would. Handmade in Los Angeles, CA, these striking slides feature a band crafted from antique Persian rugs — some dating back as early as the mid-1800s — using time-honored techniques. They feature cushioned, leather-wrapped rubber footbeds; the leather, by the way, is all sourced from Leather Working Group-medaled tanneries.
