John Dent set up his glove-making shop in a small wooden house in Worcester in 1777. Nearly two and a half centuries later, Dents is world-renowned for its finely crafted luxury leather gloves, designed and made in Britain using heritage techniques.  The Guildford gloves have a more unique design, featuring a wool blend flannel back with a smooth leather palm. If you want a better chino, sometimes you have to design  it yourself. That’s what Todd did here by pulling together the key elements of classic chinos he’s known, worn, loved and lost over time. The fabric, which is imported from Japan’s famed Kuorki mill and made on old-style shuttle looms, recreates the dry yet soft handfeel of a vintage military khaki. Manufactured in a legendary Los Angeles factory, this clean, classic tee is a year-round staple. It’s crafted from an all-cotton fabric we call “Premium Jersey.” Named for largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey is both solid and opaque but also soft and breathable — its structure gives it good drape and makes for an excellent base layer. Ours is made from combed cotton, which is softer than conventional cotton (and less prone to pilling). A pair of retro tube socks designed for practicality. A special low-gauge knitting machine that can knit wider than ordinary knitting machines is used to create a design that fits comfortably without tightening the legs. A long pile with excellent cushioning, unique to this knitting machine, is used for the sole.
