Todd wanted a midweight sweatshirt with a soft hand feel…so he designed this one. The secret is in the fabric, an all-cotton, triple-layered French terry with a smooth exterior and loopback interior (the loops are naturally moisture-wicking to help keep you dry). We also cut the fabric on the cross-grain to prevent vertical shrinkage in the wash, and brush it for a soft, plush feel. Each sweatshirt is piece-dyed to achieve a rich, even color throughout. Todd was looking for a sandal that reminded him of summers in Italy, something casual but elegant that could go from a slow morning at home to a walk along the water to dinner with friends…so he made one.
