Annie Kunz
Annie Kunz attended Texas A&M on a full-ride (soccer &
track) as a broadcast journalism major (3.85 GPA)
where she was an All- American + All-SEC in
track and All-SEC + Scholar All-American in
Soccer and a sports reporter for TexAgs as
cohost with Kayce Smith (Barstool Sports
anchor). After she qualified for the 2016 Olympic
Trials and finished 8th, she moved to San Diego,
California to become a resident at the Olympic
Training Center in Chula Vista training full time
for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Since then, she
made the 2019 World Championship team placing
13th overall, was the 2019 Pan American Silver
Medalist, 2020 US Indoor Champion (8th best
score All-Time) and won the 2020 US Olympic
Trials posting the 5th best score all time, she also
holds the American shotput record in the
heptathlon.
At the Tokyo Olympics, Annie placed 6th overall in
heptathlon in Tokyo and was the top American.
